Dr. Chun directs the School of Pharmacy’s Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Drug Discovery and Development (MS in AICD3), the country’s first program of its kind. MS in AICD3 learners study topics including machine learning, deep learning, pharmacokinetics, real-world data analysis, omics, and artificial intelligence ethics, then apply those skills in capstone projects with industry partners or in UCSF labs. Before coming to UCSF, Dr. Chun was a science research specialist at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from UC Berkeley, a doctoral degree in pharmaceutical chemistry and molecular biology from UCSF, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, also from UCSF.
